A 7 week marriage enrichment course.

A six-part course taking a historical look at the
life of Jesus, while reading through the gospel
of Luke to hear what he said and did. The
course helps you understand Jesus from a
historical perspective and get a clear picture of
the Jesus of history.

WELCOME TODAY
WELCOME! It’s great for us to be here together
today. There’s lots ahead of us in our gatherings
this morning.
If you are new, we would love to get to know you
better. Please remember to grab a welcome
pack and we’d also love you to fill in our welcome
card so that we can keep in touch.
At our 10am gathering we run a crèche for
toddlers and a Kids’ Church program for school
aged kids.
We hope you enjoy our time together today. Please
join us for morning tea after the service.
Pray that we would be those who live life to the full
and desire to share it with all we meet.
Pray for all involved in our Mens’ and Womens’
events. Pray that many hear clearly the good news of
God’s care for us and his desire for all to know him
personally.
Give thanks for those doing the Marriage Course,
pray that it would have a fantastic impact on growing
their marriages stronger.
Give thanks for Corinne James’ great news that she
is all clear of cancer. Pray for continual recovery from
the surgery.
Pray for Elizabeth Morley (Heather Allan’s Mum) who
had surgery to remove a brain tumor. Give thanks that
the surgery went well and she is recovering.
Give thanks for Bronwyn Fitzgerald recovery from
surgery. Pray as doctors continue to investigate her

Knowing Christ - Sharing Life
TODAY we continue our short series in the book
of Acts looking at how the church began. In such a
tumultuous time, God equipped and established
his church to be the most extraordinary mission
enterprise the world has ever seen.
We are going to spend time reflecting on what
God did, how his people responded and what that
teaches us today about being the church of God in
the world. Our hope is that all of us will gain new
insight and grow new expectations for what it
means for us to be the people of God together.
Pray for those sick or recovering; Nellie Evans,
Margaret Chaseling, Judy Demeral, Barbara
Clapham, Lucille Lum, Wendy Turner, Ray Condon,
John Clapham & Hazel.
Pray for Christians in places like Nigeria, North
Korea & Iran where living as a follower of Jesus is
often very dangerous. Pray for many who are in prison
that they would find rest in God their rock.
Pray for all in the Philippines suffering as a result of
continued flooding. Pray that the church would have
the resources to care for those around them.
Keep praying for our Mission Partners who we
support as they take the good news of the gospel in
other countries. Pray for the Vinks in Tanzania, Bill
& Sandra Callister in PNG & Karen Darda in
Japan. Pray for boldness, safety and joy.

Operation Christmas Child
We are doing it again this year. Last year we
sent off 130 boxes out of 300,000 from
Australia. Please take and fill a shoebox with
gifts for a child in a 3rd world country. Boxes
need to be returned by 16 September.

Dancing Through Life
Come and be inspired by our
guest dancers and hear from a
member of our church talking
about her life and her God. Something not to
be missed! Morning Tea will be served.
Friday 14 September at 10.00am in the Large
Hall. $10 pp (Transport available).

Our trading table will be up and running. All
proceeds going to our church mission
partners.

relationships, share life and get to know God
