Members’ night on Tuesday 19 <strong>June</strong>. On the night we will talk about<br />
our church, what it means to be part of it, how you can get more<br />
involved and provide a chance to ask questions.<br />

The Marriage Course<br />

the letter of James. Dave will be looking at James 4:1-<strong>17</strong>.<br />
For those with children at our 10am service, a Crèche runs in the small hall,<br />
and our Kids’ Church program meets in both halls (depending on age) after<br />
the break.<br />

PRAISE<br />
♦<br />
Give great thanks to God for the response to our annual giving day. Pray that<br />
the gifts we send will have a great impact for making Christ known in both Tanzania<br />
and PNG. Give thanks that we have been able to find joy in the sharing in the grace<br />
of giving.<br />
YOUTH MINISTRY<br />
♦ Thank God for those who want to be confirmed this year. Pray for them over the<br />
coming weeks, that they will be clear about the promises they will make and that<br />
God would continue to work in their lives.<br />
♦ Pray for kids and teenagers who are hearing about Jesus through school scripture.<br />
Pray that God’s spirit would work in their lives.<br />
♦ Pray for preparation for Triple f in Church on 24 <strong>June</strong>. Pray that lots of parents and<br />
families of Triple f-ers will be able to come.<br />
HEALTH MATTERS - Prayer and Praise<br />
♦ Pray for Andrew Muller, giving thanks for God’s gracious intervention following his<br />
very serious accident. Pray for his ongoing recovery and for Janine and the girls as<br />
they care for him.<br />
♦ Continue to pray for Anita Willemse. She is improving each day, recovering from<br />
her surgery. Pray for her protection from contracting lymphodema and for wisdom<br />
for the doctors in determining her future treatment. Pray for Eric and Dan as they<br />
keep supporting her throughout this and give great thanks to God who has shown<br />
himself faithful in all things.<br />
♦ Pray for Julia Walter as she struggles with pain and the process of rehabilitation.<br />
Give great thanks for her improved movement over the past week. Pray that God<br />
would give her great strength and endurance. Pray for Chris as he cares for her in<br />
the midst of these difficult circumstances.<br />
♦ Pray for Barbara Clapham as she continues on chemo treatment. Give thanks for<br />
the way things have progressed with her.<br />
♦ Pray for Wendy Turner, Margaret Chaseling, Ray Condon, Lucille Lum, John<br />
Clapham, Judy Demeral, Valda, Chris Hoschke & Sandra Best.<br />
MISSIONS<br />
♦ Vink Family (Tanzania): Give thanks for the Vinks time with us and for the<br />
incredible ways that God has used them over the years in Tanzania. Pray that they<br />
would be encouraged as they visit other churches in the coming weeks.<br />
♦ Bill & Sandra Callister (PNG): Pray for Sandra and Bill as they continue travelling<br />
and translating the bible and supporting others to do the same.<br />
♦ Karen Darda (Japan): Pray for Karen as she seeks places to meet people in her<br />
community and develop relationships with. Japanese Ministry (St Alban’s): Pray<br />
that more ladies will join us.<br />
♦ Pray for Pastor Reneboy and the church in Talibon as they continue to serve God,<br />
giving thanks for His gracious provision.<br />
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of<br />
insight. (Philippians 1:9)<br />
