What to do if you are a victim of Domestic Violence<br />
Domestic abuse is a serious crime and a form of antisocial behaviour and it can<br />
be physical, psychological, sexual, financial or emotional.<br />
If you are experiencing abuse of any nature and you feel that you can no longer<br />
remain in your home there is support and confidential advice available to you.<br />
If you are a victim of domestic abuse or have witnessed domestic abuse please<br />
call the police on 01702 431212. In an emergency dial 999.<br />
Free independent advice can also be obtained from: a solicitor, National<br />
Domestic Violence Helpline, Local Women’s Aid, <strong>The</strong> Dove Project, CAB, Victim<br />
<strong>Support</strong>. Please refer to the useful contact Section for full contact details for<br />
these organisations and more.<br />
