Activities
We have the following exciting daytime travel club trips coming up:
Discover the Huon Valley Thursday June 30
Depart Wrest Point foyer at 9.30am.
Travel down the channel stopping at Margate for morning tea, continue
on through Sandfly and Longley to Glen Huon, where we will tour the
Mushroom Farm (there will be no mushrooms for sale). We then travel
back to Huonville for lunch at the Grand Hotel. After lunch we will take
the scenic way back through Cygnet and on to Woodbridge where we
will stop and visit the Grandvewe Cheesery for tasting.
Returning to Wrest Point at approximately 4.30pm.
$49 per person
Ausmas at Freycinet Lodge Thursday July 28
Depart Wrest Point foyer at 8.30am.
Travel to Swansea to enjoy morning tea by the new jetty. Continue on to
Coles Bay for a scenic drive around the area including the famous
lighthouse and look outs. At the spectacular setting of Freycinet Lodge
we will enjoy a two course Christmas lunch overlooking Coles Bay, with

tea and coffee and other beverages for purchase from the bar.
Returning to Wrest Point at approximately 5.30pm.
$50 per person
Launceston Day Trip Thursday August 25
Departing Wrest Point foyer at 8.30am.
We will head north stopping at Ross for morning tea. We will then
continue to the city of Launceston for shopping and relaxation amongst
the boutiques and cafes, or continue on to Country Club Tasmania
Casino for an afternoon of free time.
Returning to Wrest Point at approximately 5:30pm.
$30 per person
