Your Tennis Staff:
Director of Tennis: Robert “Reza” Tompsett
Reza is an Australian national with exceptional
talent as a tennis player and coach. While in
Australia, Tompsett worked with
the Tennis ACT and National Sports Club.
In both the US and Australia, Reza has served
head coach of various tennis academies,
programs, and manager of junior state league teams, primary
school tennis teams and interstate teams. Reza currentlyserves
as the seasonal Director of Tennis at the Drysdale-managed
Weston Tennis Center in Florida, a position he has held since
2009.
Assistant Director of Tennis: Grant Murphy
A native from Melbourne, Grant grew up in
the immediate vicinities of Melbourne
Park, host of the Australian Open, where
legend says he was already serving at
7 months old! An Aussie level 1 & 2 certified coach, Grant
was one of the top juniors in Australia before becoming a
professional tennis coach. A former Southampton teaching
professional, Grant is excited to return to NY to bring you the
Ultimate Tennis Experience!

by Cliff Drysdale Tennis
A tennis industry legend, Cliff has devoted over four
decades of his life to promoting the advancement
of the tennis culture. His contributions to the
game span across an award-winning career as a
professional player, his leadership roles in advancing
Open Tennis and in the founding and presidency of
the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), and a
30 year+ tenure as an ESPN tennis analyst.
Under the direction of Drysdale, his talented staff of
charismatic pros at the Southampton Racquet Club
carry on his trademark style and on court demeanor
to create a perfectly balanced entertaining and
instructional tennis experience for
players of all levels.
