BVEF ANNOUNCES TWO NEW MAJOR GIFTS PROGRAMS<br />
The <strong>Blue</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> <strong>Educational</strong> <strong>Foundation</strong> has announced two new Major<br />
Gifts Programs: The Silver Society and The Legacy Society.<br />
The Silver Society allows donors to create and name an award or<br />
scholarship designed with their interests and criteria. Upon receipt of<br />
a $25,000 gift to the BVEF Endowment Fund, BVEF commits to give a<br />
$1,000 annual award in perpetuity to a BVSD student, staff member,<br />
school or program of the donor’s choosing.<br />
Dave and Megan Leathers are recognized as charter members of The<br />
Silver Society. The Leathers have named a journalism scholarship at <strong>Blue</strong><br />
<strong>Valley</strong> North High School after Dave’s father, Tom Leathers.<br />
The Legacy Society honors those who remember BVEF in their estate<br />
plan. The <strong>Foundation</strong> accepts gifts through various planned giving vehicles,<br />
such as wills, trusts, life insurance, and other life income agreements.<br />
BVEF recognized Dr. Randall Oestreicher as a charter member of BVEF’s<br />
Legacy Society. Dr. Oestreicher has made a planned gift in the memory of<br />
his wife Susan Oestreicher, a teacher at <strong>Blue</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> West.<br />
