Convertible tops
All tops are ready for installation. Special tools or any sewing are not necessary. The top will always fit to the
original factory frame. All seams are sealed additionally, the rear windows from polished PVC are in original
size, will not fade and stay crack-free foldable. Hard glass windows, which are fixed to the top by a rubber seal,
will have to be re-used. Where adjustment at the car is required, easy to install fixing elements will be supplied.
Every top will come with installation informations.
Further we can offer large assortment of installation parts, which normally will be required additionally with the
installation of a new top, e.g. like tension wires, wooden tack strips, rubber seals. So you always can order
these together with the top. In most cases we can offer this parts for more attractive prices than you local main
dealer.
Because of different qualities in material and workmanship we made different price- and quality categories:
PVC Standard:
Solid cotton weave with ourter PVC covering. For British models normally "leather"-grain, fixing elements mostly riveted already to top,
quality generally better than English original tops. German and Italian models normally with "textile"-grain, correctly crafted, but mostly
thinner than original toppings. Available in black and tan, for white please add € 21,-. Special colours grey, blue, red, brown, please add
€ 46,-.
Cotton Standard:
Solid cotton backing and outer fabric from
cotton/artificial fibre mixture, bonded together with
special rubber. Not very fading proof, will shrink
over the years. Available in black and tan.
Original materials:
Used by the manufacturer for original equipment of the car. Different types and colours, but generally good qualities. Tops directly from
works supplier or reproduction and detailed from our own production by computerised technology, according original high standards.
Solid workmanship, no differences in design or used materials guaranteed. Also several old original colours and materials available. Very
good price/quality relation. No extra charges for all available colours, except PVC white + € 26,-, red + € 57,-.
US-Acrylic:
Fading proof American topping material, similar but simplified copy of German "Sonnenland"-fabric, quality of workmanship and fit
American Standard. Binding mostly only in PVC.
