demografischen Entwicklung als eine der wichtigsten
Herausforderungen für die deutsche Volkswirtschaft.
In welchen Bereichen ergibt sich erhöhter Fachkräftebedarf?
Welche Rolle spielt die Zuwanderung aus EU- und
Nicht-EU-Staaten? Welcher Handlungsbedarf besteht für
Politik und Arbeitgeber? Was sind die Konsequenzen für die
Herkunftsländer? Diese und weitere Fragen stehen auf der
Veranstaltung zur Diskussion.
Die Konferenz findet in englischer Sprache statt, die Podiumsdiskussion
auf Deutsch. Eine Simultanübersetzung wird
angeboten.

Due to the demographic development, meeting future skill
demands is considered one of the most important challenges
for the German economy. In which fields will skill shortages
occur? What is the role of immigration from EU- and
non-EU-countries? Where is further action from policymakers
and employers required? What are the consequences for the
countries of origin? These are just a few of the questions that
will be discussed.
The conference will be in English, the panel discussion in
German. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
