Hosted co-curricular investment activities, notably the Rotman Trading Competition team and<br />
the new, student-organized, <strong>Babson</strong> Apprentice Fund (BAF) which is modeled after the <strong>Babson</strong><br />
<strong>College</strong> Fund and uses a paper portfolio to teach bottom-up stock valuation analysis<br />
Jack Cahill attended a unique seminar at Siena <strong>College</strong> on “Creating and Supporting a Trading<br />
Room” and verified that all of the necessary processes – fundraising, division sponsorship,<br />
alumni involvement, board governance, faculty stewardship – are ones that the <strong>Cutler</strong> <strong>Center</strong><br />
currently has in place.<br />
In addition, we have designated one afternoon each week during the semester for “Bloomberg Fridays”<br />
to encourage students at all level to establish baseline or advanced skills in Bloomberg, an essential<br />
market data tool.<br />
