Under the Microscope, thru June 16. Our artists
derive inspiration from the world we cannot
see. Small life forms, crystalline structures,
atomic and sub-atomic particles contribute to
out artists' creative ventures.
Where in the World, June 18-Aug 4. In this
show, our artists derive inspiration from travel
and adventure. Things that we do, places and
actions will inspire our artists' creativity.
Childhood Tales, Aug 6-Sept 8. In this show,
our artists derive inspiration from fairy tales
and favorite fantasy stories.; the morals and
fables that shape our childhood and fire our
imagination.
The DC area’s first cooperative fiber art gallery,
and have 70 members, some of whom
are published, teach and have won awards
in the fiber arts genre. New juried shows
are installed monthly which include original
works in jewelry, scarves, clothing, woven,
knitted or crocheted items, as well as handmade
paper, wall hangings, fiber sculptures
and a variety of other innovative work.

Thru June: Printmakers Inc welcomes our
newest member, Patrick Sargent, who will
show samples of his large linocuts, mostly
portraits.
June 1-Aug 31: Artists have drawn inspiration
from other artists on many occasions.
For the summer show member printmakers
have invited another factory artist who
has inspired them to create a new work of
art. Both the new work and the piece that
inspired it will be on display.
Printmakers Inc. remains the only group studio
dedicaded to the art of original hand-pulled
prints. Member artists work in a variety
of traditional printmaking techniques that
include intaglio, relief, monotypes and
screenprinting. Current members: Penny Barringer,
Anne Buchal, Judith Coady, Constance
Grace, Laura Huff, Avis Fleming, Norma Pffaf,
Patrick Sargent, Carolyn Witschonke.
