MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY FROM MEC MCHUNU
The MEC for Education in KwaZulu-Natal, Senzo Mchunu, has received with shock news of an accident where learners
from Entokozweni Special School (Umgungundlovu District) were fatally injured on their way to school this morning, 20
May 2013. Learners who were severely injured were taken to hospitals (Edendale, Grace and Northdale).

“It is with great sadness that we have learnt of this disastrous accident where 34 learners from Entokozweni LSEN School
were severely injured. I wish all learners who were involved in this accident a speedy recovery, our thoughts and prayers
are with you during this difficult time. I wish to further plead with all the drivers to be extra careful on the roads. ,” MEC
