the Toledo <strong>Art</strong> <strong>Museum</strong> became the touchstone <strong>of</strong> the<br />

studio glass movement. Glenn Adamson, head <strong>of</strong> research<br />

at London’s Victoria & Albert <strong>Museum</strong>, shows how<br />

the primordial “blob” forms created at the 1962 workshops<br />

continue to influence art and design today.<br />
