MEMORANDUM
Instructions for Final Grade and Attendance Submission for Spring Session-II
Date: August 6, 2012
FINAL GRADES – Submission of final grades for Spring, Session-II will commence on
Wednesday, August 8. Final grades must be entered through CUNYfirst. Faculty members
who have not claimed their CUNYfirst account must do so in order to submit final grades. The
following page contains a list of faculty members who are teaching in Session-II and have not
yet claimed their CUNYfirst account. The grade submission tutorial is available online at
http://www.laguardia.edu/CUNYfirst/Benefits/
In addition to the online tutorial, the Registrar’s Office has a lab where
faculty members will receive in-person assistance with grade submission.
The grading lab is located in C-447:
Wednesday August 8 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Thursday August 9 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday August 10 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Monday August 13 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Tuesday August 14 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Wednesday August 15 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Thursday August 16 9:00 AM -12:00 PM**
If for any reason a faculty members name did not get attached to a CUNYfirst grade
roster, a printed version of that roster will be available in C-447.
WEB-ATTENDANCE - Web attendance is a web-based tool and can accessed from any
computer with internet connectivity. It is suggested that faculty members print two copies of
their web attendance records – one copy for the respective academic department and another
copy for their own records.
Adjunct faculty members must submit signed timesheets to their respective academic
Department. The verification of final grade and attendance submission will be completed
by the Payroll Office. Adjunct faculty members will not be cleared by the Payroll if either
grades or attendance rosters are missing.

CUNYfirst accounts. Claiming an account is necessary in order to submit grades.
We have identified you/your office as potential points-of-contact for the faculty during the upcoming
grade submission process. Please refer to this list if/when a faculty member contacts you regarding the
inability to submit grades. As previously mentioned, in-person assistance will be available to all faculty
during the grade submission period in room C-447.
