• The Law Faculty returned to its original site at <strong>the</strong><br />
Bukit Timah Campus to begin <strong>the</strong> <strong>2006</strong>-07 academic<br />
year. The Lee Kuan Yew School <strong>of</strong> Public Policy will<br />
move to Bukit Timah in December <strong>2006</strong>.<br />
• <strong>NUS</strong> High School <strong>of</strong> Ma<strong>the</strong>matics and Science moved<br />
to its custom-built 4.7 hectare campus at Clementi<br />
Avenue 1. With <strong>the</strong> completely wireless environment,<br />
students can access <strong>NUS</strong>’ online teaching and<br />
information resources.<br />
• The first <strong>NUS</strong> Arts Festival in February and March<br />
<strong>2006</strong> comprising 111 performances and workshops<br />
featuring music, drama, dance, film and <strong>the</strong> visual<br />
arts attracted more than 30,000 people to <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> Cultural Centre. Performances by campus<br />
talents shared equal billing with those by<br />
international artists such as Russian pianist<br />
Konstantin Scherbakov. Highlights included sold-out<br />
performances by <strong>NUS</strong> alumnus Corrinne May and<br />
eminent Indian violinist Dr L Subramaniam.<br />
• Man <strong>of</strong> Letters, a romantic musical with a cast<br />
including alumni and students, was staged in May<br />
<strong>2006</strong> to audiences totaling over 7,000. This<br />
Centennial musical was set in Bukit Timah Campus <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> 1950’s.<br />

• Radio Pulze, a student initiative run by <strong>the</strong> <strong>NUS</strong><br />
Students Deejay Group with support from <strong>the</strong> Centre<br />
for Instructional Technology, made its debut<br />
broadcast on Valentine’s Day <strong>2006</strong>.
