In order to verify your immigration status and/or issue the appropriate immigration documents, require the following<br />

Financial verification, in ENGLISH and U.S. Currency Equivalent showing that you have at least $6,850<br />
per year at your disposal to support your education. Copies or statements older than six months are not<br />
acceptable. You may submit one or more of the following:<br />
• A current bank statement and an official letter from your sponsor (affidavit of support)<br />
• Written confirmation of a scholarship, fellowship, assistantship or other type of funding.<br />
Affidavit of support from your sponsor. The affidavit must include a statement regarding the sponsor’s<br />
willingness to support you financially, as well as the time period and amount of support.<br />

A copy of your current I-20 (F-1 students) or DS-2019 (J-1 students) if you are now in the U.S.<br />

The Gallery Apartment Building (Dormitory)<br />
There are three types of apartments available at “The Gallery” located 1/2 block from the Prince Street School, and<br />
approximately five blocks from the King Street Metro Station. The majority of apartments consist of a living/dining room, a<br />
kitchen, bedroom, and bath and are expected to hold two students. There are also larger apartments that contain a loft<br />
space in addition to the living/dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bath, and these apartments are intended to house<br />
three/four students. The apts. are furnished with beds, dresser, sofa, coffee table, end tables, and a dining room table &<br />
chairs. You are responsible for your linens, shower curtain, dishes, pots/pans/TV & a microwave, if desired).<br />
The rent, as listed below and subject to change, includes all utilities except phone, computer, and cable TV:<br />

A deposit of $400 payable to BSR (Bluestone Realty) is required and will be mailed to students (applicable amount) upon<br />
their departure. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and paid in full upon arrival ($135.00 per<br />
semester).<br />
If you would like housing, please fill out this form and mail it, along with a deposit, to the Resident Mgr. by April 1, 2006.<br />
Apartments will be leased on a first-come, first-served basis. Only forms with deposits will be accepted. Please do not<br />
Express Mail, FedEx or UPS mail to the Gallery since I am not there during the day; please use regular mail.<br />

SEVIS Fee Payment Form I-901<br />
The I-901 form is used to transmit the fee for F and J nonimmigrant applicants for a visa. The website for instructions<br />
and to submit an online application or download a paper form is www.fmjfee.com.<br />
Who is required to pay the fee?<br />
If a person is seeking a visa from an embassy or consulate abroad for initial attendance (F1) at a school approved by<br />
the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), or for initial participation in an exchange visitor program (J1)<br />
designated by the Department of State (DOS).<br />
How much is the fee?<br />
For students (F1) $100<br />
For spouses and dependent children of No fee<br />
students (F2) or exchange visitors (J2)<br />
For exchange visitors (J1) $100<br />
How can the fee be paid?<br />
1. Electronically, by completing Form I-901 through the Internet and paying with a credit card.<br />
2. By mail, using Form I-901, and including a check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank and payable in U.S.<br />
dollars.<br />
3. By someone else. If you want to have someone in the U.S. pay the fee on your behalf, send them either a copy<br />
of your completed Form I-901 or provide them with the information needed to complete the Form I-901 for you.<br />
The person who pays the fee must attach the copy of the I-190 to the payment they submit; otherwise the<br />
payment cannot be processed and will be returned based on the address provided. You may also have<br />
someone else pay your fee on line. The person may complete the I-901 and pay by credit card or check<br />
according to the instructions on the website. Be sure you provide the correct personal and school or exchange<br />
visitor program information to the person who completes the I-901 for you.<br />
When can I get the visa?<br />
The SEVIS fee must be paid and fully processed before the applicant arrives at the consulate for the visa<br />
appointment.<br />
For those nonimmigrants who do not need a visa to enter the U.S. as a student or exchange visitor, the fee must be<br />
paid and fully processed before applying for entry at a U.S. port of entry.<br />
A receipt will be sent by mail to the address that you indicate with your payment. For those who pay the SEVIS fee<br />
online, a payment confirmation can be printed out immediately after the payment is made, and used as a receipt until<br />
the mailed receipt is received.<br />
Having a receipt for the SEVIS fee payment will make the visa process easier. However, if you are unable to print a<br />
receipt from an online payment, and/or do not receive your mailed receipt in time for the visa interview, you can still<br />
go to your interview as long as your fee has been processed by the Department of Homeland Security.<br />
How long is the fee valid?<br />
The SEVIS fee is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of the initial application. If the applicant is unsuccessful<br />
in obtaining a visa, he/she may apply again for the same or different program within 12 months without having to pay<br />
the SEVIS fee again, as long as the fee payment made meets the fee required for the same or different program (see<br />
the chart).<br />
