course offerings available in Green Bay’s
downtown art district.
We invite you to browse through the
following classes and join us.
Classes are held at
1417 Cedar Street, Green Bay
Note: Some NWTC classes are held at the ARTgarage which
is located directly across the street from the Artisan and
Business Center at 1400 Cedar Street.

left at the intersection of Main, Baird, and Cedar

Registration Information _________________
Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served
basis. Registrations are accepted until the start of a class
as long as there is an opening in the class and the class has
not been cancelled. Class cancellation process begins seven
calendar days before class start date.
If the class starts within one week, we recommend that you
register in person or by telephone to ensure your registration
request is processed immediately.

Use my.NWTC to access online registration and
other services. All you need is your Social Security
number or student ID. Please have a credit card available for
payment of all non-credit classes.

Chris Greenwood, Potter
Chris is a studio artist with strong wheel throwing
and hand building skills. Chris, the owner operator of
Greenwood Studios, has experience with mold making;
firing with electric, gas, and wood fueled kilns; glaze
testing and formulation; kiln building and maintenance;
and gallery operation. Chris served as apprentice to
Simon Levin, Mill Creek Pottery, Gresham, Wis.

Instructor Spotlight
Kirsten Christianson, Papermaker
Kirsten is an award winning environmental artist who learns
from nature and whose natural expression in handmade
paper experiments with wild fibers, local plants, branches,
and stones. Kirsten earned her Master of Fine Arts from the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has studied at the
Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Minneapolis, and the Art
Institute of Chicago. She has shared her papermaking skills
with others at the Woodwalk Gallery in Door County, the
Clearing in Ellison Bay, and through numerous artist in
residence programs throughout Wisconsin.

...examine the principles of the artisan as business person
along with the exploration of papermaking in a hands-on
studio setting. Learn to make, press, and dry paper from
natural as well as recycled materials. Explore techniques
such as embossing the use of molds as well as incorporating

Sally Everhardus, Artisan Microbusiness
Sally, a Door County artist, has been making art since
she could hold a pencil. A graduate of the University
of Michigan School of Art, she has worked as a graphic
designer and in a variety of media including fiber, clay,
fused glass, and painting in watercolor and acrylic.
Part of her professional career has included writing for
publications and presentations. She has also taught sales
and customer service techniques to people at all levels.
