Pollard Banknote’s current business derives almost exclusively from providing products and related services to
lotteries, including instant tickets, break open/pull tab tickets, promotional games, pull tab vending machines,
instant ticket vending machines, and lottery management services.
Since its inception in 1907, Pollard Banknote has enjoyed unmatched growth as a lottery ticket supplier and
currently serves government lotteries in Canada, overseas, and the United States. Earning a reputation as a
secure, high-quality printer of instant lottery products is not easy; it takes years of experience and commitment.
With over 100 years of business now behind them, they have solidified an international reputation for guaranteed
security, consummate quality, and unparalleled service.
With the accusition of the old Motor Coach building, this has allowed Pollard Banknote to invest in a customconfigured
instant ticket press. Incorporating 22 flexographic print units and two new data-imaging stations, for a
total of 24 stations, the Cad $13 million custom-assembled press adds approx. 4.2 billion equivalent single size (2”
x 4”) tickets per year to Pollard Banknote’s annual capacity.
One of our Council Members and an Employee of Pollard Banknote, Kelvin Martyniuk and his staff are
prepared to give us an in-depth tour of this “NEW” fabulous facility, covering the production of the product
through to the “High Security” distribution to the customer. A Q & A will enable our members to get a better
understanding of anything that might be of interest to them.
