Got a Little Irish Luck?
Find out with the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle sm
On January 20, your players will have a chance to
play the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle SM . Just like previous
Raffles, only 250,000 tickets will be sold. We will be
offering the same great prizes, which include one
$1 million prize, 10 prizes of $20,000 and 1,000
prizes of $100. Raffle offers the best odds for
winning $1 million, giving your players an extra
incentive to play.
Watch for new marketing materials coming your
way soon, including a large poster, easel poster and
small poster (dangler).
It’s time to celebrate the luck o’ the Irish with the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle!

1. Field Sales Representatives – They are an excellent
resource and are able to forward information

2. Retailer Website – Visit our Retailer Website at
oregonlottery.org, then click on the Retailer Web
Page link on the left side of the screen. Enter the
user name “Lottery” and password “Retailers”
to access the website. Click on the symbol displayed
below to send a direct email to the Lottery.
3. Retailer Forums –
The Lottery hosts retailer
forums throughout the
state during the year.

4. Retailer Surveys –
Each year, the Lottery conducts an annual
Retailer Survey to gather information used for
future business planning. We also offer a drawing
with $100 prizes for retailers who fill out their
survey. Giving us your thoughts will help us
better serve you.
We hope you take advantage of the variety of ways
to communicate with Lottery staff. Your ideas and
opinions are very important to us. We hope to hear
from you soon!

Oregon Liquor Control
Commission (OLCC) rules for
Happy Hour advertising have
recently changed.
What is allowed:
The use of “Happy Hour” or
similar terms that reference
food and alcohol discounts.
The time period including
specific hours and words that
reference time are also allowed.
Example:
Happy Hour Daily 4 PM–6 PM
What is not allowed:
Advertising a specific reduced
price/discount on alcohol that
is offered only during specific
times.
Examples:
Happy Hour Margaritas $4

How to Choose the Right Video Lottery SM
Chair
The more comfortable your customers are, the more likely they are to come back for
more play time which can add to your bottom line. That’s why it is a great idea to provide
adequate space for multiple Video Lottery SM
Terminals (VLTs) within your establishment,
along with comfortable chairs for your customers.
SO WHAT KIND OF CHAIR SHOULD YOU PURCHASE?
Because Video Lottery SM terminals come
in varying sizes, we recommend that you
choose an adjustable chair. Upright VLTs
should have chairs with a 24”–30”adjustability
range, and lower profile VLTs (Bally ®
CineVision ) should have chairs with a
height of 19”–20”. Providing adjustable
chairs will allow your players to create their
own comfort level, based on their height

feels and follow their wishes.

simple act of courtesy will
help to create a fun and safe
gaming environment for you
and your players.
