The LA35 series of actuators represents the latest in voice coil technology from SMAC and is their
most advanced and robust actuator yet developed. It continues the SMAC tradition of supplying direct
drive high-resolution motors capable of tightly controlled high-speed work profiles. It is available in
Linear, Linear Rotary & Linear Slide variations. It incorporates a robust linear guide, sub-micron
resolution reflective glass scale encoders and ribbon cable construction throughout.
With this versatile range SMAC are targeting not only the traditional industries such as Pick & Place,
die-bonding and Semiconductor manufacture, but also applications in the QA/gauging, tensile testing
and scanning as well as a multitude of optical and photonics industries.
