Held on May 22nd, the last Pep Assembly of the year
was full of fun and recognition to all student teams, clubs
and organizations for their great performance during their
spring events and activities. The assembly began with
members of the jazz choir Spotlight performing the
national anthem followed by the band playing the schools
fight song.
A variety of games where students and teachers
competed against each other was, as always, a crowd
favorite! The events included: pull the tissue, blow the cup,
cookie stacking, dodge ball, hoola hoop and fill the cup.
The following clubs and teams were recognized for
their efforts:
Baseball, softball, girls soccer, boys’ and girls’ track,
bass fishing, boys’ and girls’ volleyball, Robotics Team,
Rocket Club, SLIP Team, Government Club, NAHS,
French Club, The Edge, Broadcasting Club, Student
Council, Photography Club, Student Ambassadors,
Mosaic, Mandarin Club, Band, Choirs, Drama Club, Math
Club, Speech Team, NHS, Yearbook, Literary Fest
participants, National Spanish Exam Winners, UIC
