• Small amount Black yarn for embroidery<br />
• Size G-6 (4 mm) crochet hook OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE<br />
• Small amount polyester fiberfill<br />
• Large-eyed, blunt needle<br />
• 11” of 1/4" wide ribbon<br />
GAUGE<br />
15 sc = 4” (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.<br />
NOTE<br />
Join end of each rnd with a slip st. Ch 1 to start next rnd, unless otherwise specified.<br />
BODY<br />
Starting at bottom, ch 2.<br />
Rnd 1 Work 7 sc in second sc from hook.<br />
Rnd 2 Work 2 sc in each sc around - 14 sc.<br />
Rnds 3 - 7 Work sc in each sc around.<br />
Rnd 8 *Work sc in next sc, 2 sc tog; repeat from * 3 more times, end sc in each of last 2<br />
sc - 10 sc.<br />
Rnd 9 Work 2 sc tog around - 5 sc. Without fastening off, stuff Body firmly.<br />
HEAD<br />
Rnd 1 Work 2 sc in each sc around - 10 sc.<br />
Rnds 2 - 4 Work sc in each sc around.<br />
Rnd 5 Work 2 sc tog around - 5 sc.<br />
Rnd 6 Work 2 sc tog twice, sc in last sc. Fasten off, leaving an end for sewing. With<br />
needle, weave yarn end through remaining sts to close opening and secure.<br />

EARS (make 2)<br />

Rnd 1 Work 6 sc in second ch from hook. Fasten off.<br />
MUZZLE (make 1)<br />

Rnd 1 Work 6 sc in second ch from hook. Fasten off.<br />
FINISHING<br />
Stuff Arms and Legs. Sew in position to Body as shown in photo, or as desired. Sew Ears<br />
and Muzzle in place. With needle and Black, embroider eyes, nose, and upside-down “Y”<br />
for mouth.<br />
To make <strong>Tiny</strong> <strong>Teddy</strong> a little cuter and chubbier, with needle, run a long thread from<br />
bottom of body to top of head and back down through body to bottom. Pull the thread<br />
ends to “squash” teddy to desired chubbiness. Tie a knot with the two ends at bottom of<br />
body to secure in place.<br />
Tie ribbon around neck and trim ends - or use scrap yarn to crochet a tiny scarf to keep<br />
your teddy warm.<br />
