Raising Money for Cystic Fibrosis
For the past six years danny leber
of St. James has taken part, with his
family, in the annual Great Strides
Walk. danny, who is a 5th grader at
Sts. Philip and James, was inspired
to raise money for cystic fibrosis in
honor of his cousin Gavin who is afflicted
with the disease.
This year Team Gavin was represented
in seven different cities nationwide.
Spending his own money,
danny had rubber TEaM GaViN
bracelets made. he sold them to
friends and family and raised over
$450 for the Great Strides Walk for
Cystic Fibrosis.
danny resides in St. James with
his parents, Jennifer and Erich, and
his three brothers, Erich, Nicholas
and Michael, who are all so proud
of him! The entire leber family,
along with grandparents, aunts, uncles
and cousins, take part in the annual
walk.
