Pre-Law Chapter
By Caroline Rodriguez, Secretary
Phi Alpha Delta’s 293 rd Pre-Law Chapter at
Towson University has had a busy first semester as
an official Chapter. The beginning of our semester
was greeted with great success as we pursued
different avenues to expand our membership and
raise awareness of our group on our campus. By
the end of the semester we initiated 10 new
members. By the end of the spring semester we
hope to double that!
This fall our officers were able to attend both
our local leadership symposium and the P.A.D. Pre-
Law Conference. We were able to learn more about
Phi Alpha Delta and our role within the
organization and our responsibility to educate our
members to make an informed decision about law school. Both events were sources of great inspiration and gave us
the motivation to succeed the rest of the year.
Our Chapter was most proud of our event featuring Zach Wilks, an advisor to the Department of Defense. Mr.
Wilks spoke to our members and other Towson students about alternative jobs they can obtain after graduating law
school. He discussed various lawyer and non-lawyer jobs our members could have with a law degree in the national
security field and what students can do to make themselves more competitive for national security jobs.
Towson University’s Pre-Law Chapter looks forward to a busy spring semester filled with various speakers and a
potential law school fair!
