Panasonic Appoints Mark Emanuelson
as European Sales General Manager
AMSTERDAM — 12th September 2008 — Panasonic PBITS Professional & Broadcast
Systems has announced that Mark Emanuelson has been appointed European Sales General
Manager. Emanuelson joins Panasonic from Cisco Systems where he led a 100-person
commercial sales team responsible for selling converged data, voice, and video IT solutions to
customers in the fast growing emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe. In his new role
at Panasonic, Mark Emanuelson will lead an international team responsible for the sales of
professional video and broadcast equipment in all European countries.
An MBA graduate from Santa Clara University in California, Mark Emanuelson also studied
international business law at the National University of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in business from California Polytechnic State University. Emanuelson has
managed various sales, marketing, and business development teams for American and
European companies. He is originally from the United States, but relocated to London seven
years ago with his wife and 8-year-old daughter. Today he holds dual UK and US citizenship.
