<strong>Panasonic</strong> Appoints Mark Emanuelson<br />
as European Sales General Manager<br />
AMSTERDAM — 12th September 2008 — <strong>Panasonic</strong> PBITS Professional & Broadcast<br />
Systems has announced that Mark Emanuelson has been appointed European Sales General<br />
Manager. Emanuelson joins <strong>Panasonic</strong> from Cisco Systems where he led a 100-person<br />
commercial sales team responsible for selling converged data, voice, and video IT solutions to<br />
customers in the fast growing emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe. In his new role<br />
at <strong>Panasonic</strong>, Mark Emanuelson will lead an international team responsible for the sales of<br />
professional video and broadcast equipment in all European countries.<br />
An MBA graduate from Santa Clara University in California, Mark Emanuelson also studied<br />
international business law at the National University of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of<br />
Science degree in business from California Polytechnic State University. Emanuelson has<br />
managed various sales, marketing, and business development teams for American and<br />
European companies. He is originally from the United States, but relocated to London seven<br />
years ago with his wife and 8-year-old daughter. Today he holds dual UK and US citizenship.<br />
