<strong>May</strong> it please you, your Excellency the President:<br />
We, the Members of <strong>Parliament</strong> of <strong>Zimbabwe</strong>, desire to express our loyalty to<br />
<strong>Zimbabwe</strong> and beg leave to offer our respectful thanks for the speech, which you<br />
have been pleased to address to <strong>Parliament</strong> – Hon. J.M. Gumbo<br />
2. Adjourned debate on motion on mobile voter registration exercise (Adjourned<br />
<strong>15</strong> th <strong>May</strong> – The Minister Constitutional and <strong>Parliament</strong>ary Affairs.)<br />
Question proposed:<br />
That this House:<br />

AWARE that the government has embarked on a mobile voter registration<br />
exercise which began on the 29 th of April <strong>2013</strong> to 19 th <strong>May</strong> <strong>2013</strong>;<br />
CONCERNED that mobile registration exercise has not been adequately<br />
advertised and that not enough centres have been provided for;<br />
APPRECIATING that the registration exercise is of paramount importance in the<br />
preparation of a Voters Roll which is key as a determinant factor of a general<br />
election.<br />
FURTHER AWARE that the Principals to the Government of National Unity<br />
committed to establishing at least one centre per ward for a period not less than 30<br />
days through the new constitution as provided for in the Sixth Schedule Part 3<br />
Section 2.
