GENERAL FINDINGS
• Business Centres:
There are very few business centers in the constituency and although most of
the centers are electrified, they do not have police posts and post offices.
• Gender Representation:
It is pleasing to note that unlike other constituencies with only male
councilors, Bikita West has at least 2 female councilors though the number
should be increased.

• Boreholes:
It is recommendable that there are boreholes in most of the wards in the
constituency, an indication that the communities are being provided with
clean drinking water.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• It is essential that post offices and banks be built in most of the wards so that
farmers have access to banking facilities.
• There are some clinics without general beds. There is need to have more
general beds at the affected clinics.
