GENERAL FINDINGS
• Local government
All the councilors in the constituency are males hence there is gross gender
imbalance representation in local government.
• Education
There is high incidence of hot –sitting in most of the schools in the constituency.

• Gender Projects
Very few women are taking part in most of the gender projects.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• There is need to appoint women to positions of councilors, as noted, all
the councilors in the constituency are male hence women ought to be
involved in the decision making process as well so that gender equity is
achieved.
• There is hot sitting in virtually all the primary and secondary schools in the
constituency hence more schools ought to be built so as to reduce
instances of hot sitting.
• Some clinics and hospitals do not have nurses and doctors, there is an
urgent need to deploy more nurses and doctors at the affected clinics and
hospitals so that there is an efficient and effective health delivery system.
