Loyalty and Purchase card
We are proud to inform you of our partnership with Paul Roos Gymnasium. The b-Smart card, through which you get up to 5%
back on your daily shopping, is now available to all parents, teachers and supporters.
Cape Consumers has negotiated rebates from various retailers since 1947 and these rebates are paid to cardholders as a
bonus every November – just in time for the December holiday!
As a b-Smart cardholder, you’ll receive a net cash bonus of 2% to 3% on your everyday food purchases, up to 5% on other
purchases and 6% back on your short-term insurance premiums via Santam. The b-Smart card is not just another credit card
but the most popular insurance and groceries purchase card in South Africa!

In addition to an attractive annual bonus, the following benefits also apply:
• up to 45 days’ interest-free credit
• access to financial services at highly competitive rates and value-added products and services
• convenient and safe shopping
• the option to obtain additional cards for your spouse and/or dependants

Credit option: You’ll need to apply for membership of Cape Consumers. Please read and complete the enclosed application
form and return it to Cape Consumers in the postage-paid envelope, together with the required supporting documents. On
approval of your application*, a Paul Roos b-Smart card with a credit limit will be issued to you.
Pre-funded option: If you choose to not make use of the 45 days’ interest-free credit facility or do not qualify for credit, you
can make advance payments onto your card prior to your purchases. You’ll still enjoy the standard purchase benefits
(excluding budget purchases, loans and insurance products). Call us for further information.
