Earlybird Ladies Bible Study<br />

and Elizabeth Mills will teach this study entitled “The Wonderful and the Wicked . . . God Uses His <strong>People</strong><br />

Thursday Ladies Bible Study<br />

Thursday mornings, September 4–December 4, 2008; 9:30–11:30 a.m. in the PCBC “Loft” on the 3rd Floor<br />

of the Community Life Center. $20 to help offset the cost of the notebooks. Janet Denison will lead a<br />

study entitled Listen for God’s Call which will focus on the twenty-five Old Testament and New Testament<br />

people who were called by God. It will help us identify when, where and how God’s call will come to us.<br />

Dr. Jack Graham, Senior Pastor of Prestonwood <strong>Baptist</strong> <strong>Church</strong>, will be the featured speaker at the Kickoff<br />

on September 4 in the Great Hall of the Community Life Center at 9:30 a.m.<br />

Wednesday Night Bible Study for Women: Believing God by Beth Moore<br />

Begins Wednesday, September 10, 6:00–7:30 p.m., Lower Level Collins Building Room 2. Based on Isaiah<br />

43:10 we will explore what it means to not only believe in God but to believe Him. 10 week study. Books<br />

A Woman’s Touch Dinner: “Bee All That You Can Bee”<br />

Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Featuring Dr. Mamie McCullough, motivational<br />

speaker and author. Table viewing at 5:30 p.m. Dinner at 7:00 p.m. Location:<br />

Great Hall. Cost: $22 per ticket.<br />

One of the highlights of the year for the Women’s Ministry, A Woman’s Touch<br />

Dinner provides a time for ladies to gather for inspiration and motivation from<br />

a speaker, enjoy a fabulous meal and view beautiful “tablescapes” created<br />

by our own ladies. Our creative Table Hostesses spend lots of time planning<br />

and decorating a table for the evening. If you would like to decorate a table<br />

This year’s dinner will feature Dr. Mamie McCullough, “The I Can Lady.” Dr. McCullough is the author<br />

of several popular books, including I Can; You Can, Too!, Get it Together…And Remember Where You<br />

Put It, and I’m Not Waving, I’m Drowning. She is living proof that<br />

“it’s not what happens to you, but what you make out of what<br />

happens that counts!” She has overcome poverty and many other<br />

adversities, including cancer to become one of the country’s most<br />

popular motivational speakers.<br />

noon. Pay the night of the event. Dinner will be provided for<br />

children 3 years and older. Children younger than 3 will need to<br />

Music offers your child the opportunity to learn more about music and sing about God’s love. Our Missions emphasis helps your child<br />

Mission Friends (ages 3–5)<br />

In Mission Friends, preschoolers develop missions attitudes and concepts, become aware of God’s love for all people, realize that others<br />

need to hear about <strong>Jesus</strong>, learn of missions work and missionaries in North America and around the world and learn the joy of praying<br />

Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) boys in grades 1–6<br />

The primary focus of the Royal Ambassador program (RAs) at PCBC is to help boys know about the missions work of Southern <strong>Baptist</strong>s<br />

around the world, and how each boy may have a personal role in missions throughout his life in his “own backyard” and beyond—to<br />

Girls in Action (GA’s) girls in grades 1–6<br />

GA’s learn about Bible heroes and missions leaders who share God’s love with others through their words and actions. The girls will also<br />
