Radical Philosophy Review provides an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed forum
for activist scholars, community activists, and artists to explore concepts central to
the humanistic transformation of society. This biannual journal features original articles,
special discussions, and reviews that will be of interest to those who share the
view that society should be built on cooperation rather than competition, and that
social decision-making should be governed by democratic procedures. Published
authors include Samir Amin, Giovanni Arrighi, Hanan Ashrawi, Noam Chomsky,
Ward Churchill, Angela Y. Davis, Enrique Dussel, Nada Elia, Norman Finkelstein,

Radical Philosophy Association
The Radical Philosophy Association is a non-sectarian, international forum for the
philosophical discussion of fundamental social change. Founded in 1982, the Association
is open to anyone who shares the view that society should be built on cooperation rather
than competition, and that social decision-making should be governed by democratic
procedures. RPA considers its enterprise to be inherently interdisciplinary and welcome
persons not trained in philosophy. More information about the RPA is available at the

RPA publishes the bi-annual journal Radical Philosophy Review, and all members receive
a print subscription to the current volume as a benefit of membership.
