Adrienne Marie Rhudy Memorial Scholarship Fund:
Qualifications:
Applicants pursuing a post-secondary degree at a two or four-year college or university.
Demonstrated ability to overcome adversity
Minimum grade point average 2.5 on 4.0 scale
Note: Applicants must submit an additional essay demonstrating his/her ability to
overcome adversity and strengthened thereby. Please title and mention the name of this
scholarship in your essay.
Amount: $1,700 (Renewable)

The Eric E. Sutphin Memorial Scholarship Fund:
Qualifications:
Applicants must have parent or legal guardian who is a law enforcement officer serving
in the New River Valley
Applicants pursuing post-secondary education at any college (2 or 4 year), or any
university or any accredited vocational or technical program
Documented financial need
Minimum grade point average of 2.5 on 4.0 scale or equivalent academic achievement
Amount: $500 (Renewable)

Deadline: Applications are due in Guidance by February 11, 2013
The Wings Fund:
Qualifications:
Applicants pursuing education at a college (2 or 4 year), university, or post-secondary
vocational school
Older and nontraditional students are encouraged to apply
