Method
Precellys DNA kits use the reversible
binding characteristics of PerfectBind ®
silica centrifugation tubes for rapid and
effective sample processing. Samples
are first homogenised and lysed and
then passed through the silica column.
DNA selectively binds to the silica
matrix and, after washing, is eluted in
elution buffer or water ready for downstream
use.
PRECELLYS SOIL DNA KIT
- For the isolation of high purity DNA
from soil and mixed material samples.
- Particularly well suited for the isolation
of DNA from difficult to lyse microorganisms
- Kit includes Precellys glass and
ceramic bead tubes (SK38).
- For up to 250 mg sample per column
PRECELLYS BACTERIAL/FUNGAL
DNA KIT
- Designed for difficult to lyse
mushrooms, yeasts, gram + bacteria
and spores
- Kit includes Precellys 0.5 mm glass
bead tubes for effective sample
homogenisation prior to purification
- For up to 100 mg mushroom material,
1 x 10 8 yeast cells or 1 x 10 9 bacteria
per column

- Ideal for tough, resistant tissues like
tumour biopsies, cartilage and
connective tissue

ceramic beads for effective tissue
