• Alternative anticoagulation ( Angiomax) was chosen as a heparin alternative • The ACT’s remained stable in the 220 second range • However the International normalized ratio (INR) elevated initially to 6.0 then lowered and stayed at 4.0 • Thus there was always a risk and concern of bleeding
