Seize the opportunity to join an enthusiastic and friendly Pharmacy
team alongside over 50 Pharmacists, including Consultant
Pharmacists and Teacher Practitioners (providing valuable links
with Liverpool John Moores University). Leading edge pharmacy
services are delivered from two recently refurbished departments,
with the support of advanced levels of technology.
Resident Pharmacists are an essential part of a valued and
progressive on-call pharmacy service and have back-up provided
by Senior Pharmacists. As part of the Department’s commitment
to supporting CPD activities, a comprehensive induction
programme is provided and the undertaking of a well-regarded,
fully funded Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy is
encouraged. Previous hospital experience is not essential as an
extended training programme is available. A varied rotational
programme (including specialities such as cardiology, elderly
medicine, medical admissions, paediatrics, surgery, aseptics and
medicines information) supported by competency-based
assessments and research opportunities will allow you to flourish

Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmaceutics Ref: 10/243
£39,015 - £46,169 per annum
Fixed-term appointment for two years
We are looking for an experienced academic who can integrate their
scientific knowledge in pharmaceutics into both the teaching of
Pharmaceutics and the application of that knowledge into Pharmacy
Practice and Clinical Pharmacy teaching. You will also have the
opportunity to develop your academic management skills, providing
support to the Course Director of the recently accredited Foundation
Degree in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences.
Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice/
Clinical Pharmacy Ref: 10/244
£39,015 - £46,169 per annum
The Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Pharmacy will have
an important role to play in research and teaching for the MPharm and
related academic programmes. You will ideally have academic experience
in a School of Pharmacy, and a strong interest in teaching and research in
at least one area within Pharmacy Practice and/or Clinical Pharmacy.

£39,015 - £46,169 per annum pro-rata
Part-time up to 0.7 FTE, Fixed-term appointment for
two years
The Teaching Fellow post will suit pharmacists who are looking to move
into academia, further developing their education and training skills, and
those who want to share their professional experience to develop the
next generation of pharmacists. The successful candidate would
continue to work part-time in a pharmacy practice environment.
