Heavy Magnum® Turkey<br />
The new 20 gauge addition to the Heavy Magnum ® Turkey ammunition lineup gives<br />
turkey hunters even more options. The three-inch, 20 gauge option is loaded with<br />
1 3 ⁄8 ounces of #5 nickel-plated lead shot. The three-inch, 12 gauge option<br />
features 1½ ounces of either #4, #5, or #6 nickel plated lead shot. Shot<br />
deformation is minimized, thanks to the thickest nickel-plating in the industry,<br />
which reduces fliers and keeps more pellets on target for dense patterns.<br />
The Versatite ® wad does the patterning, and typically patterns best with an improved<br />
cylinder or modified choke. The wad strips cleanly from the pellets in flight without<br />
disrupting them, resulting in a shorter shot string that delivers more collective energy<br />
on impact. At 1300 feet per second for the 12 gauge load, and 1200 feet per second<br />
for the 20 gauge load, Heavy Magnum ® Turkey ammunition allows hunters to achieve<br />
lethal results out to 50 yards.<br />
Heavy Magnum® Coyote<br />
<strong>Hornady</strong> ® Heavy Magnum ® Coyote shotgun loads deliver lethal results and minimal<br />
pelt damage out to 50 yards. Loaded with 1½ ounces of nickel plated lead shot in<br />
your choice of either a BB or 00 buckshot offering, these 3 inch, 12 gauge shotshells<br />
are the perfect answer for close range predators. Both loads feature the <strong>Hornady</strong> ®<br />
Versatite ® wad that strips cleanly from the shot string for excellent pattern density<br />
and a short shot column for maximum effect on target.<br />
