MonoFlex® ML
At the heart of the MonoFlex ® ML is the .452 diameter MonoFlex ® bullet — a monolithic solid
projectile made from a copper alloy and topped with the patented Hornady ® exclusive Flex Tip ®
design that works as a catalyst for uniform expansion, even at the low velocities of longer range
impacts. The MonoFlex ® won’t separate and retains 95% of its original weight.
Specifically engineered to provide phenomenal accuracy, penetration and high weight retention,
the MonoFlex ® ML is a non-traditional/alternative metal construction bullet option that is a
fantastic choice for ALL hunters.
Available in two sabot configurations; hunters who prefer to use loose powder (or pellets) can
select the traditional High Speed/Low Drag sabot, and for those who shoot pellets exclusively,
Hornady ® offers the innovative patented Lock-N-Load ® Speed Sabot. ® Hunters can pre-load
pellets onto the “tail” of the sabot, providing an efficient and convenient setup that eliminates
fumbling when trying to load or reload in the field.

A specially engineered profile requires no lube and a mere 25 pounds of loading force,
making the FPB ® one of the easiest loading muzzleloader projectiles on the market.
Featuring our patented Flex Tip ® technology, the FPB’s ® streamlined shape maximizes
exterior ballistics. Upon impact, the flexible elastomer tip compresses into the nose of
the bullet, causing expansion from 900 to 2000+ fps. This expansion results in quick
kills and minimal tracking. So now you don't have to shoot a muzzleloader bullet that
requires a plastic skirt.
