Day 1, Monday, Oct 3, 2011 - Louisville - Italy
Depart from Louisville or from your hometown for the overnight
flight to Rome. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.
Day 2, Tuesday, Oct 4, 2011 - Arrive Rome
Upon arrival your escort will warmly greet you this morning and
welcome you to Italy. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a free
afternoon for rest, relaxation, or exploration. You tour escort can

Day 3, Wednesday, Oct 5, 2011 – Rome Papal Audience and
Vatican Museum Tour
Wake up in Eternal City, one <strong>of</strong> the greatest centers <strong>of</strong> Western
Civilization and the first truly cosmopolitan city on earth! It is also
spiritual capital for all the Catholics around the world. Today is
truly a day we will have in our minds for many years to come.
This morning we go to Vatican City to attend the weekly Papal
Audience or Blessing given by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI
(pending papal schedule). Following the audience visit <strong>of</strong> the
Vatican Museums, a group <strong>of</strong> most impressive edifices with hundreds
<strong>of</strong> galleries filled with art treasures. See awe-inspiring relics
and works <strong>of</strong> art donated throughout centuries as tributes <strong>of</strong>
faith. We'll cover <strong>The</strong> Tapestry Gallery, <strong>The</strong> Raphael Rooms and
the most overwhelming Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's Masterpiece,
restored mural <strong>of</strong> the Last Judgment. Later, enter the
largest church in Christendom St Peter's Basilica, built on the
site where St Peter was martyred. Unsurpassed in beauty, a
monument to the long history <strong>of</strong> the Catholic Church, to which
pilgrims come from around the world, St Peter's is the grandest
<strong>of</strong> the world's churches. Marvel Pieta and Bernini's amazing
bronze canopy. We will also visit the grave <strong>of</strong> Pope John Paul II
located at the Vatican. Before dinner, we'll have some time at
leisure, to explore your own paths, to shop, or just to sit in one <strong>of</strong>
the outside cafes and watch the world go by.
Day 4, Thursday, Oct 6, 2011 – Rome
This morning we depart for a sightseeing tour entitled "Christian
Rome" which will includes: the Basilica <strong>of</strong> St. Mary Major, one <strong>of</strong>
the oldest shrines dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, a shrine that
contains a relic from the manger <strong>of</strong> the infant Jesus; the Holy
Stairs, the Basilica <strong>of</strong> St. John the Lateran, <strong>The</strong> Basilica <strong>of</strong> the
St John in Lateran, is the former residence <strong>of</strong> the popes prior to
their return to Rome in 1377; St Paul Outside the Walls, which
houses the remains <strong>of</strong> St Paul under its main altar; and the Appian
Way -- the oldest road from Roman times--plus the famous
Domino Quo Vadis Chapel; see the ancient Baths <strong>of</strong> Caracalla,
Arch <strong>of</strong> Drusus; Tomb <strong>of</strong> Celilia Metella, and the catacombs <strong>of</strong>
St Callixtus where the early Christians hid themselves to escape
persecution. We will also enjoy a visit to the Trevi fountain. Dinner
and overnight for your last evening in Rome.
Day 5, Friday, Oct 7, 2011 - Rome - Monte Cassino - San
Giovanni Rotondo
We leave the Eternal City and head south, cross through the
Roman countryside with its villas and vineyards, stopping at the
Abbey <strong>of</strong> Montecassino, a beautiful town founded by St. Benedict
in 529. Continue through the countryside heading east to
Padre Pios town <strong>of</strong> San Giovanni Rotondo, our base for the following
two nights. Dinner and overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.
Day 6, Saturday, Oct 8, 2011 - San Giovanni Rotondo - Monte
Sant'Angel
After celebrating Mass at the tomb <strong>of</strong> Padre Pio, we tour the
Sample Day-by-Day Itinerary
sanctuary, see the old church and the crucifix from which he
received the stigmata in 1918. You will see the confessional
where Padre Pio spent innumerable hours with a multitude <strong>of</strong>
pilgrims, directing them on their journey toward God. Enjoy a
breathtaking view <strong>of</strong> the Cargano Peninsula and a visit to the
Grotto <strong>of</strong> Michael the Archangel. Six different popes, St Francis
and at least four other saints have knelt in prayer at this grotto,
seeking the protection <strong>of</strong> St Michael. A panoramic view <strong>of</strong> the
ocean and the surrounding countryside awaits you at this most
celebrated shrine <strong>of</strong> early Christianity, a shrine consecrated by
St Michael himself in 490. Return to San Giovanni for devotions,
reflection, and a restful overnight.
Day 7, Sunday, Oct 9, 2011 - San Giovanni Rotondo - Lanciano
- Loreto - Assisi
We will have breakfast at our hotel before we embark on a drive
up the Adriatic coast to Lanciano where we will see the Eucharistic
Miracle and celebrate Mass. We then continue on to the
great Marian shrine <strong>of</strong> Loreto to visit the Holy House <strong>of</strong> Nazareth
and the beautiful Madonna <strong>of</strong> Loreto. More than 50 popes have
made a pilgrimage to the house transported by angels to this hill
in central Italy in 1294. Tradition has it that this is the house in
which Mary first prayed the Magnificat, in which Jesus grew to
manhood, and in which the Holy Family lived. Continue to Assisi
for dinner and overnight.
Day 8, Monday, Oct 10, 2011 - Assisi
Visit the tomb <strong>of</strong> St Francis. Explore the quaint hilltop birthplace
<strong>of</strong> St Francis that still retains something <strong>of</strong> the atmosphere <strong>of</strong> the
early 1200s, the period when St Francis began his ministry.
Contained within the huge 13th-century Basilica are many <strong>of</strong> the
saint's possessions and a series <strong>of</strong> frescoes depicting his life.
You may kneel before the crucifix from which Jesus spoke to St
Francis, asking him to rebuild His church. It was in St Mary <strong>of</strong>
the Angels Basilica where St Francis spent most <strong>of</strong> his life. Here
we visit the Chapel, Portiuncola, the rose bush, and the cave
where the saint retired for prayer. Stroll the medieval streets <strong>of</strong>
the compact little town. After stopping at an outdoor cafe with a
view <strong>of</strong> an ancient Roman temple, we go to the Church <strong>of</strong> St
Clare to see the saint's incorrupt body. <strong>The</strong> foundress <strong>of</strong> the Order
<strong>of</strong> Poor Clares followed the teachings <strong>of</strong> St Francis by living
a life <strong>of</strong> poverty and humility. We will visit these two saints'
tombs before dinner and retiring for the evening.
Day 9, Tuesday, Oct 11, 2011 - Assisi - Siena
We are <strong>of</strong>f to the beautiful town <strong>of</strong> Siena, the birthplace <strong>of</strong> Saints
Catherine and Bernardine and one <strong>of</strong> Italy’s loveliest medieval
cities. Here we will stroll the Piazza Del Campo, one <strong>of</strong> Italy’s
finest squares and visit the Cathedral and the Basilica <strong>of</strong> St.
Francis, containing the miraculous consecrated hosts that remained
intact since 1730. View the incorrupt head <strong>of</strong> St. Catherine
at the Basilica <strong>of</strong> St. Dominic. Return to Assisi for dinner
and overnight.
Day 10, Wednesday, Oct 12, 2011 - Assisi - Florence (or
Rome) - Louisville
We bid farewell to our new friends and to a pilgrimage which will
be in our memories and heart for a long time to come. Early departure
from Assisi for Florence (or Rome) Airport for our return
flight to Louisville or your home town. We fondly say, Arrivederci
Italia!

DEPOSIT AND REGISTRATION A $400 per person deposit is required
at the time <strong>of</strong> booking with a completed reservation application. Fax, internet,

full must be received within 7 days <strong>of</strong> booking or reservation will cancel.
Full payment is due 60 days prior to the departure date. If a booking is made

PRICE GUARANTEE We can only guarantee prices when and if the trip
is paid in full. Rates shown on website are based on double or twin occupancy

PASSPORTS, VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A valid US passport is required for travel for US citizens. If you do not have

or Canadian citizens do not need to obtain visas for most countries 206 Tours
services. For all other nationalities please consult the country <strong>of</strong> travel's
consulate. When and if visa is required it is passenger’s responsibility to
obtain one. Cancellations due to lack <strong>of</strong> appropriate travel documents will
incur usual penalties.
FINAL DOCUMENTS

PARTICIPATION 206 Tours and suppliers contracted for services reserve
the right to refuse to accept or retain any person whose behavior is deemed
likely to affect the smooth operations <strong>of</strong> a tour, or adversely affect the
enjoyment or safety <strong>of</strong> other passengers. 206 Tours, its agents, and suppliers
shall be under no liability to any such person for refund, compensation,
repatriation or any other matters arising.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation
is received. In addition to a $300 per person administration fee, the
following charges apply if a cancellation is made before departure (per
person <strong>of</strong> total tour price):
60 - 46 days prior to departure 10%
45 - 21 days prior to departure 50%
20 - 03 days prior to departure 80%
02 days prior to departure or less no refund
Additionally, once tickets are issued (approximately 4-6 weeks prior to
departure) the ticket value is non-refundable. Requests for a refund must be
in writing (mail, fax or e-mail). Phone calls can not be used as a form <strong>of</strong>
cancellation. It is the individual’s responsibility to confirm 206 Tours' receipt
<strong>of</strong> cancellations regardless <strong>of</strong> their form. Refunds will be issued within 30 to
60 days <strong>of</strong> receipt and pending return <strong>of</strong> airline tickets and receipt <strong>of</strong> written
notice <strong>of</strong> cancellation. Refunds for payments made by credit card are subject
to an additional 3.5% fee. No change <strong>of</strong> names or substitutions are permitted.
No refund or cancellation fees will be waived due to death or sickness.
TRAVEL GUARD TRAVEL INSURANCE 206 Tours strongly suggests
the purchase <strong>of</strong> Traveler's Insurance. Travel Guard Insurance <strong>of</strong>fers a waiver
<strong>of</strong> pre-existing conditions if insurance is purchased at the time <strong>of</strong> deposit.
Travelers insurance can not be purchased after your trip is paid in full. Travel
Guard Traveler's Insurance is available through 206 Tours. Travel Insurance
premiums are non-refundable. 206 Tours will automatically bill all passengers
for traveler's insurance unless it is declined in at the time <strong>of</strong> reservation

CANCEL FOR ANY REASON PROTECTION PLAN 206 Tours
<strong>of</strong>fers an optional additional protection plan for $199 which permits
travelers to cancel for any reason up until the day prior to departure
with out penalty. You MUST file a claim with Travel Guard insurance
if you cancel your reservation, and if you are denied reimbursement
from Travel Guard for any reason 206 Tours will refund your losses in
cash in full (not including the insurance and cancel protection premiums).
You MUST select this option at the time <strong>of</strong> booking and it must
be paid with your deposit. You MUST purchase standard travel
insurance in order to purchase the cancel for any reason protection
plan (unless you are a NYresident).
AIR TRANSPORTATION Air transportation is in economy class
on IATA-approved carriers. Ticketing must be completed no later than
14 days prior to departure. Fares are based on levels in effect at the
time <strong>of</strong> printing and prices and schedules are subject to change without
notice. All travel is subject to the airlines terms <strong>of</strong> carriage. 206 Tours
is not responsible for any cancellations, loss, delays, injury, illness, or
expenses incurred due to actions made by the airlines. For any issues
which arise in relation to airline service complaints and compensation
should be addressed to the carrier.
AIRPORT TAXES, FEES & FUEL CHARGES Airport taxes
(approx. $150) are NOT included in our tour packages unless otherwise
indicated. Airport taxes are based on departure city and government
fees which are subject to change until tickets are issued (airport
taxes include Federal Inspection Fees for the U.S. Customs and
Immigration; International Air Transportation Tax; Agricultural tax;
security fees, and other airport related taxes). Airport taxes are collected
at the time <strong>of</strong> final payment and paid to the airlines on your behalf
at the time <strong>of</strong> ticketing. Please note that unless airline ticket has been
paid for & issued, airport taxes are subject to change.
SEAT ASSIGNMENT Random seats are assigned for all group
participants. If you would like to secure a specific seat, or sit with a
travel companion please advise us <strong>of</strong> such request at the time <strong>of</strong>
booking, we will make an effort to accommodate you, however we
cannot guarantee. If you must have specific seat we recommend you to
be at the airport at least three hours prior to departure and arrange the
seat assignment with your airline's gate agent. Bulkhead and exit row
seating can never be requested prior to the day <strong>of</strong> departure. 206 Tours
can never guarantee specific seats, which are at the discretion <strong>of</strong> the
airline & are pending availability, subject to seat map changes

From time to time, a tour may be canceled due to non-materialization.
If you chose to purchase a Land Only package and arrange your own
domestic or international flight independently <strong>of</strong> us, be advised that
206 Tours is not responsible for domestic or international flights or
transfers <strong>of</strong> any kind. Booked or purchased items outside <strong>of</strong> 206tours
are sole responsibility <strong>of</strong> client.
TRANSFERS Our programs include group round-trip transfers.
Pilgrims or passengers who did not purchase "all-inclusive tour" or
who purchased land only package and are arriving or leaving independently
must transfer at their own expense. Expenses incurred for
transfers due to lateness <strong>of</strong> flights are at the expense <strong>of</strong> the passenger
and may be claimed for reimbursement from the airlines. No smoking

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS Hotel accommodations are based
on twin-bedded or double rooms. 206 Tours reserves the right to
substitute similar category hotels without prior notice. In some hotels
triple accommodation is possible, however, no reduction in cost is
available for triple rooms. A limited number <strong>of</strong> single rooms are also
available at a supplemental rate.
PRIVATE ROOMS and SINGLE SUPPLEMENT A limited
number <strong>of</strong> single rooms is available (on request basis only) at the
supplement price. Single rooms provide privacy, but they are in some
hotels smaller than twin or double rooms and sometimes may be
poorly located, especially in the older hotels. As a general ratio we are
able to confirm 10% <strong>of</strong> the total number <strong>of</strong> group participants in single
rooms. If ratio is higher special supplements may be implemented for
something referred to "single in double room" at an additional rate to
the single supplement rate listed. If passengers are traveling alone and
wish to have 206 Tours assign a roommate we will do our best, however,
if if we do not succeed in assigning a same sex roommate a
single supplement fee will be applied.
MEALS Most trips includes two meals per day (breakfast and
dinners) which are served at your hotel or local restaurants. Beverages 2-3 miles with no discomfort.

hotel accommodations for the tour program are independent contractors
and are not agents or employees <strong>of</strong> 206 Tours. All coupons,
receipts and tickets issued are subject to the terms and conditions
specified by suppliers. By utilizing the service <strong>of</strong> the suppliers, you
agree that 206 Tours will not be liable for any change in flight or
itinerary schedule, strikes, delay, acts <strong>of</strong> governments, fires, riots,
theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations,
accident, loss, injury, or damage to you or to those traveling with you
in connection with any accommodations, transportation or any other
services or resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or conditions
beyond its control, including defects in vehicles, breakdown in
equipment, thefts, delay or cancellation <strong>of</strong> or changes in itinerary for any
act, omission, or event during the time you are on board the aircraft.
Neither 206 Tours and/or agents <strong>of</strong> the airlines concerned are to be held
responsible for the late arrival <strong>of</strong> passengers at airports or hotels due to
inclement weather, nor are they to be held liable for payment or any
refund for transfers or unused hotel accommodations or meals occasioned
by such late arrivals at the hotels holding rooms as confirmed itineraries.
Passengers must bear all such losses or expenses. To guard against
unforeseen health or other circumstances, we recommend you purchase
our optional travel insurance. 206 Tours is not responsible for circumstances
beyond its control. In circumstances where trip cancellations
resulting from the inability for trip to depart as scheduled, such as cancellations
due to acts <strong>of</strong> war and/or terrorism, war, God, or nature takes
place, 206 Tours is not liable for restitution. Though every effort will be
made to follow the itinerary, it should be considered as an indication <strong>of</strong>
the tour, rather than a contract <strong>of</strong> places to be visited. Occasionally local
religious holidays, national days, traffic conditions and other events may
necessitate changes in the sequence <strong>of</strong> visits or the missing <strong>of</strong> certain
visits. We will have daily mass and strive to be in places as indicated.
However, sometimes this is not possible as the site may not be available
for Mass or itinerary changes are forced upon us. In this case an alternative
site for Mass will be arranged.
SPECIAL MEDICAL CONDITIONS You must report any disability
requiring special attention to 206 Tours at the time <strong>of</strong> registration for any
tour. We make every effort to accommodate disabled passengers by
reserving for them wheelchair assistance at airports and handicap accessible
rooms where available, however, we cannot guarantee and are not
responsible for any denial <strong>of</strong> services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or
other independent suppliers. Be aware that all <strong>of</strong> our tours are operated
outside the U.S. where the Americans with Disabilities Act is not applicable
and facilities for disabled individuals are limited. Most transportation
services, including the touring motor coaches, are not equipped with
wheelchair ramps or lifts. We regret that we cannot provide individual
assistance to any tour participant for walking, dining, while in their room,
on flight, getting on and <strong>of</strong>f motor coaches and other vehicles, or other
personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion(s) must
accompany travelers who need special assistance. It is the passenger's
responsibility to arrange for such assistance prior to making their reservations.
Motorized scooters are unsuitable and impossible to accommodate.
206 Tours is not responsible for any medical condition that occurs prior,
during or after the tour. Additionally, airlines are not able to guarantee or
provide assistance for disabled travelers including special seating. Pregnancy,
Breast-Feeding, and Travel Pregnant women considering international
travel should be advised to evaluate the potential problems associated
with international travel as well as the quality <strong>of</strong> medical care
available at the destination and during transit. A pregnant woman is
advised to travel with at least one companion; during her pregnancy, her
level <strong>of</strong> comfort may be adversely affected by traveling.
YOUNG TRAVELERS Travelers who are less than 18 years old on
the departure date must be accompanied by an adult. Due to heightened
security, many countries have adopted practices to prevent international
abductions <strong>of</strong> children. If a child will be traveling with adults other than
the parents or with only one parent, it is recommended that a notarized
letter be written by the parents or non-traveling parent granting authorization
to travel including the dates <strong>of</strong> travel. We also suggest you contact
the appropriate consulate and airlines because they may have additional
requirements. For the purposes <strong>of</strong> 206 Tours trips an infant is defined as
anyone who is under the age <strong>of</strong> 24 months for the entire duration <strong>of</strong> their
trip. A child is defined as any one between the ages <strong>of</strong> 24 months-11
years for the entire duration <strong>of</strong> their trip.
SAFETY Please be aware that during your participation on tours
operated by 206 Tours, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our
control including, but not limited to, the hazards <strong>of</strong> traveling in undeveloped
areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means <strong>of</strong>
transportation; the forces <strong>of</strong> nature, political unrest and accident or illness
in remote regions without means <strong>of</strong> rapid evacuation or medical facilities.
206 Tours does not have liability regarding provisions <strong>of</strong> medical care or
the adequacy <strong>of</strong> any care that may be rendered. 206 Tours is not responsible
for compensation for cities/sites omitted from the itinerary due to
circumstances beyond it's control.
PHYSICALITY OF OUR TOURS Please note that almost all destinations
serviced by 206 Tours require physical fitness and a lot <strong>of</strong> walking,
sometimes up/or down the hills and at times very rough terrain. You may
certainly stay behind for certain parts <strong>of</strong> the journey, however, it is
suggested that 3 to 4 weeks before your departure one should begin
preparing physically begin walking "briskly" 1-2 times a day; build up to
