0.58 Hectare of land at Desertmartin Road is
designated as a Housing Land Use Policy Area as
identified on Map No. 86a - Tobermore.
Committed sites include sites with planning permission and
sites that have not yet been approved but which are at a stage
in the planning application process where there is a reasonable
expectation that planning approval will be granted. Only those
sites with approval or potential for 10 or more dwellings are
designated for housing.
The Plan does not stipulate key design requirements for these
sites as future development will be subject to the conditions
attached to planning permission. In the event that such
permissions lapse, Planning Service may alter existing conditions
or attach new conditions to any subsequent approval to take
account of prevailing regional planning policy and the Plan
Proposals.
There is a current outline planning application for housing
development on this site.
