A review of study in tissue culture of ferns
ZENG Xia, ZHUANG Nan-sheng
(College of Agronomy, South China University of Tropical Agriculture, Danzhou 571737, Hainan China)
The advances in tissue culture of ferns are reviewed in this paper. The
techniques of in vitro propagation are described, including spore germination and clonal
propagation from sporophytes. The effects of cultural medium, cultural method and
cultural condition on tissue culture of ferns are summarized. The inducement and
regulation of altering generations in tissue culture of ferns are also introduced.
