OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Science Action is looking for a few energetic Princetonians, ready to put science and
learning into action!
Science Actions helps you produce short science films (you do the research, plot the script,
shoot the film and edit) that will be featured on Princeton’s YouTube page. All final videos
compete in a Spring competition for prize awards.
We’re assembling new Spring semester teams on the following topics:
* Detecting exoplanets that orbit distant stars.
* Influence of the epigenome on the heredity of family traits.
* Perception of three-dimensional images by the human brain.
* Designing nanoparticles for drug delivery.
Interested? RSVP to scienceaction@princeton.edu this weekend, and come check out what
other SA teams are up to at our end-of-semester meet-up on Dec. 9. (Lunch & apple cider will be
served.)
RockyWire is a listserv for the Rocky Community and we invite you to sign up! It’s an open
listserv, which means anyone at Rocky (including upperclassmen) can join and anyone on the list
can post to the list. RockyWire is a venue where members can send announcements, reminders,
requests, and questions. To sign up, just send an email to listserv@lists.princeton.edu with NO
anyone having to enter names. You’ll receive confirmation that you’re subscribed, instructions
for posting, and other administrative info (including how to leave the list, ever need to).
