The CLX-8385ND/CLX-8385NX is a powerful colour
MFP for businesses and workgroups that regularly use
colour to add impact to everyday documents, such as
reports, spreadsheets, letters and presentations.
The A4 format is a cost-effective option for those that
don’t need the flexibility of A3 output, but who do
require the speed, reliability and robust print quality of a
workgroup device capable of handling print volumes of
up to 100,000 pages a month.
Colour print speeds of 38 pages per minute, network
colour scanning, walk-up copying and fax put the
CLX-8385ND/CLX-8385NX at the heart of workgroup
productivity.
Support for Samsung’s XOA development platform
means that it can also be integrated into enterprisewide
applications, workflows and cost-saving printer
management systems like SafeCom’s XOA-enabled
pull printing solution.
Easy Colour Manager
Easy Colour Manager lets you adjust colour
balance, brightness, contrast and saturation of
images viewed on a PC monitor. This feature
is especially useful if you have specific colour
preferences or corporate colour use guidelines.
The ability to grab an image from anywhere on
your screen, make the necessary adjustments
and print only the area selected helps eliminate
unnecessary paper and toner use.

Detection. The MultiXpress C8385ND
automatically recognises colour and B&W
prints/copies and outputs them in the most
appropriate way so that you no longer have
to separate mixed batches before printing.
Improves productivity and prevents unnecessary
wear and tear of printer components.
SafeCom & XOA
Gain control over print devices with SafeCom’s Enterprise
Smart Printing solution, now available as an embedded XOA
application on Samsung MFPs. This widely used solution
offers a set of tools to cut costs by 40%, including centralised
device administration, access controls, job accounting and
secure pull printing.
The software routes print jobs to a server where they remain
until the user pulls them down to the network printer of their
choice with a PIN or swipe/smartcard. Any that are not
retrieved within a pre-determined period are automatically
deleted from the print queue.
In this way, SafeCom eliminates unnecessary printing,
provides a record of MFP activity and maintains data security
as documents are not printed until the user is at a machine
to pick them up. Embedding SafeCom on a Samsung MFD
allows it to be operated via the control panel and removes the
need for additional hardware.
