many to be verified by inspector and how many to be tested
at the laboratory)
• What is the experience of MS?
• What are the risks posed by Food Imitating products?
• Is there any known accident analysis?
• What is follow-up of the Joint Action at each Member State
Other issues to consider
• Do MS have procedures for assessment of these products?
• How do MS perform assessment for potential Food Imitating
Products (decision tree, expert panel, qualification of expert,
statistics)?
• Start with paper/desktop exercise before actual sampling?
• Analysis of the existing RAPEX notifications (40 notifications
in 2009)
