Maintaining records for your group life insurance coverages is a challenge that has
become increasingly difficult as you face tighter budgets, increasing responsibilities,
and fewer benefits personnel. You can simplify this process with Record Keeping
Services (RKS) from The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential).
With Prudential RKS you can reduce your administrative burden, focus your attention
on higher-value objectives, and make the enrollment process and follow-up
interactions easier for you and your employees.

Prudential’s Record Keeping Services
We provide all the support and information your employees need at every touch point—before they
enroll, while they are enrolled, and when their employment ends.
Beneficiary Records Management—We obtain current beneficiary records, if available. Employees
can update and manage their beneficiary records online or on paper.
Claim Facilitation—Upon claim notification, Prudential will coordinate directly with the beneficiary
to obtain necessary claim documentation required for claim processing. A toll-free customer service
line is also available to answer any questions the beneficiary may have regarding the claim process.
Termination Processing—Following termination notification, terminated employees can work
directly with Prudential to gain information on portability and/or conversion options and we
will process their applications.
Anytime Enrollment—Prudential will process all enrollments—for initial enrollment and for new
hires. We can also send out new hire kits, which guide new employees through the web-based or
paper enrollment process for their optional coverages. We screen for evidence of insurability (EOI)
and facilitate the EOI submission process.
Billing & Payroll Deductions—We bill the employer for employer-paid life products, provide a
deduction file for employee-paid products, and bill employees directly for their optional coverages
when they are on leave of absence.

Record Keeping Services that Match Your
Voluntary Life Plans
Core RKS provides administrative support for life claim facilitation, beneficiary management,
and termination mailing. There is no cost for most clients with 1,000 or more employee lives
covered who offer Voluntary Life coverages. Speak with your Prudential representative for more
details and to see if your group qualifies. Customized solutions may require an additional charge.
Concierge RKS gives you all the benefits of Core RKS plus premium services like faster access
to data, expedited claims facilitation, and advanced enrollment concierge support from a licensed
Prudential representative. At claim time, your beneficiaries will also receive enhanced support
through our survivor concierge service. There is no cost for most clients who offer Voluntary Life
coverages with 2,500 or more employee lives covered. Speak with your Prudential representative for
more details and to see if your group qualifies. Eligibility data is required when clients select this service.
Full RKS offers clients our maximum level of support. You get the administrative support in the
Concierge level and we manage billing and payroll deduction services, coverage and assignment
records, and new-hire enrollment. This service is available for a charge to most clients with 10,000
or more employee lives who offer Voluntary Life coverages. Speak with your Prudential representative
for more details and to see if your group qualifies.
