With a magnesium alloy casing and a specially designed<br />
carry handle, the P470 is a truly mobile solution.<br />
As well as featuring a shock mounted HDD and LCD<br />
TFT screen, the P470 is also equipped with a G-Sensor<br />
to protect data from sudden drop or accidents.<br />
For more extreme conditions, the P470 also includes<br />
sealed I/O caps and doors to prevent solid particles<br />
and moisture such as dust and rain, making it the<br />
ideal solution for use in bad weather conditions or in<br />
untidy environments.<br />
The P470 also possesses an array of impenetrable defensive<br />
capabilities to keep data safe from hackers<br />
or if the notebook is stolen. Various wireless connectivity<br />
facilities ensure you stay connected wherever<br />
you may be. The P470 features built-in 802.11a/b/g<br />
Wi-Fi to connect to a Local Area Notebook. Other options<br />
for the P470 include; Bluetooth 2.4G to allow<br />
you to securely connect to other Bluetooth devices,<br />
Wide Area Network GPS recording the P470’s location,<br />
and 3G technology. For conferencing facilities,<br />
the P470 also features a built-in 1.3 Mega Pixel camera<br />
which is ideal as a web cam for video conferencing.<br />
The notebook offers optional Sunlight-Readable LCD<br />
display that has been designed to ensure continuous<br />
use under bright ambient lighting conditions. Intensifying<br />
an LCD’s visibility, the technology makes the<br />
P470’s display more readable and therefore usable<br />
in extremely bright outdoor environments. The P470<br />
also features multi-bay options which can be utilized<br />
to extend all important battery life when a power facility<br />
is not available. The multi-bay can also be used<br />
to support an additional HDD for extreme storage.<br />
