The new V100 boasts specialist rugged features,<br />
including magnesium alloy casing, to ensure it<br />
can withstand some of the most extreme conditions<br />
in almost any environment.<br />
The 2.2 KG ultra-light V100 features a rotatable,<br />
polarized touch screen 10.4” XGA TFT LCD display<br />
(12.1” WXGA optional), enabling it to transform<br />
from a notebook into a tablet PC. The V100’s<br />
unique display also houses a reversible integrated<br />
waterproof 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera. For use<br />
in extreme conditions the V100’s display can be<br />
customized to include sunlight readable technology<br />
to ensure clear visibility in high sunlight conditions.<br />
The V100 is capable of withstanding heavy rain<br />
and spillages and is immune to damage from airborne<br />
dust and debris. The removable hard drive,<br />
the most vulnerable hardware in any system, is<br />
shielded by a protection mechanism to prevent<br />
damage during operation. It includes; anti vibration<br />
rubber, ideal for use during transport across<br />
rough terrain; and anti shock housing for circumstances<br />
when drops may occur. The HDD is also<br />
prepared for extreme temperatures so the computer<br />
works in temperatures down to -20°C.<br />

to a 9 cell battery the V100 ensures worry<br />
free mobile computing. V100 is designed to include<br />
a variety of wireless capabilities to ensure<br />
no matter what requirements you may have, they<br />
are fulfilled; the V100 supports Bluetooth TPM 1.2<br />
and WLAN technology as standard, and 3G and<br />
GPRS are available as upgrades.<br />
