OUTWARD LOANS
The significance of the Museum’s collections is recognised not
just in Tasmania but nationally. Many requests are received
from other institutions each year to borrow items from the
collections. The Museum acknowledges this as an opportunity
to provide improved access to its collections for a much
broader audience. Items which have been on extended loan
during the last year include:

• Shoe last from the shoemakers shop at Port Arthur—
