Company Members/Supporters: CIBSE is an engineering institution and pr<strong>of</strong>essional society<br />
for individual engineers, and does not have company <strong>members</strong>hip as such.<br />
CIBSE has a corporate association, CIBSE Patrons, with over 100 member companies, who<br />
support the work and activities <strong>of</strong> CIBSE, with a special emphasis on education and career<br />
development for engineers in the early stages <strong>of</strong> their careers.<br />
In addition, CIBSE has four specialist Divisions, the Society <strong>of</strong> Light and Lighting (SLL), the<br />
Society <strong>of</strong> Façade Engineers (SFE), the Society <strong>of</strong> Public Health Engineers (SOPHE) and the<br />
Institute <strong>of</strong> Local Exhaust Ventilation Engineers (ILEVE), which each cover areas <strong>of</strong> specialist<br />
engineering within buildings. The SLL and SOPHE have significant Industrial Sponsorship<br />
groups.<br />
