3/40 TIMING BELTS/BELT PULLEYS AND CHAINS BRECOFLEX ® TIMING BELTS BRECOFLEX ® TIMING BELTS BRECOFLEX ® Timing Belts / BRECO ® Timing Belts Continuous timing belt (Standard) (without interruption of the tension members) Continuous timing belt (StandardPlus) (bifilar wound, without interruption of the tension members) BRECOFLEX: The BRECOFLEX ® timing belt is manufactured in continuous lengths without tension member interruption. The tension member has thread-type winding. BRECOFLEX ® timing belts can be used universally for all tasks in drive technology up to 10.000 RPM. Application Areas Continuous timing belts for power drives All drives designed for power should use BRECOFLEX ® timing belts without tension member interruption. They can be loaded both using continuous operation as well as start/brake operation. They operate in a speed range of up to 10.999 RPM. Continuous timing belts are provided in the preferred catalogue lengths. Our manufacturing program also enables the supply of intermediate lengths up to a maximum continuous length of 20.000 mm. StandardPlus BRECOFLEX ® timing belts with improved characteristics The new generation of BRECOFLEX ® timing belts has been specially developed for use in high-precision positioning applications. The bifilar tension member winding significantly reduces the tendency of the timing belts to drift, even to zero in the ideal case. The special type of winding prevents lateral forces tension members which result in drifting of the timing belt. in the drive are reduced significantly which also improves the positioning characteristics. The BRECOFLEX ® timing belts also have a clearly improved constancy of the teeth spacing within the belt. Although the tooth spacing deviations in the previous generation were already in the μm range, these could be further minimised. With this generation of BRECOFLEX ® timing belts, there are standard products available for the user which combine outstanding characteristics such as high power transmission, high stiffness, optimum running behaviour and high precision. Materials BRECO® and BRECOFLEX ® timing belts are manufactured as standard using the material with the TPUST1 designation and steel cord tension members. Other belt materials such as flexible at low temperatures, heat-resistant or suitable for food contact polyurethane are possible. Highly flexible tension members (E) and tension members made of VA steel are also available. Our sales partner responsible for your area can advise you about our possibilities. Welded BRECO ® Timing Belt BRECO ® timing belts (BRECO M: products sold in open length / BRECO V: welded belts) BRECO M: The BRECO ® timing belt is manufactured as a product sold in open length. The tension members are always arranged parallel to the edges. Products sold in open length are used, for example in linear drives. All tension members are involved in the force flow. BRECO V: Products sold in open length welded to form continuous belts means BRECO ® timing belts are available in any length. Half the number of tension members are involved in the force flow at the joint. Continuous welded BRECO ® timing belts are most used in conveying technology for any centre distances.
