CHARACTERISTICS AND

Drive and heads 

Screws are divided into categories 

based on their particular type of 

drive and head: square flat head, 

Recex flat head, square oval head 

etc. Beveled edges are required 

when using flat head screws to 

ensure that the screw heads are 

flush with the surface of the material. 

Truss head, round head and 

flat head screws provide superior 

support without damaging material. 

They are recommended for 

a variety of applications, including 

the installation of assembly brackets
