JUNE 2012 Hometown Jams Season Opener June 28th The band “Another Level” kicked off the 2012 Hometown Jams season opener and literally rocked the house! Those in attendance were thrilled with the band’s energetic performance. New this year was the selling of DBi’s first commemorative ornament which is fashioned after the Bevell’s annual “Running of the Trains”. These make excellent gifts and if you haven’t picked one up yet, it’s not too late to do so. Just call the DBi office at (434) 292-3041. Jim and Christine Hasbrouck, owners of Grey Swan Inn Bed & Breakfast, manned the “Christmas in July” table and sold 11 ornaments at the concert. The “Running of the Trains” at Bevells Hardware is depicted by the collectible ornament. They sell for $20 each and they make excellent gifts. You can get yours by calling (434) 292-3041. Several corporate sponsors joined us for the evening including Terri and Jay Lee of Lee’s Excavating & Grading <strong>Inc</strong>. They were the company that transformed the hole into the gorgeous Town Square that we have today and they did it on time and under budget which is quite remarkable!
